From mid-November to the first week of January, thousands of twinkling lights illuminate places all over the world to celebrate the season.

Christmas Light Shows have become a tradition here in the Philippines, especially in Metro Manila where lots of people from different provinces visit just to see the bright city lights. Using special lighting equipment, holiday decorations, and good yuletide music, the annual light displays will give you such feels for this season!

Just along the Metro, here are the 5 gorgeous light and sound shows to visit this holiday season!

Okada Dancing Lights

Want to see a world-class dancing light show? There’s no need to travel overseas! The Fountain at Okada Manila is one of the most interesting places to see. As big as a 50 Olympic-size swimming pool, with advanced underwater robots, more than two-thousand lights, dozens of high-quality speakers, and more than 700 high-power jets that can shoot water beyond the height of the Okada Manila hotel building, this will give you a sight that you will never forget!

Nuvali Magical Field of Lights

Experience the first of its first kind Magical Field of Lights located in the south! This 3,600-square-meter field features hundreds to thousands of vividly colored dandelion-like stems that changes into different colors, tube lights, and light spheres that are scattered in the grass field of Nuvali in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Make a visit until January 5, 2019, every 30 minutes from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The bright lights will be closed on Christmas Day.

Ayala Triangle Festival of Lights

Feel the magic of Disney with this year’s theme as the ever-famous Ayala Triangle Gardens will be playing classical animated Disney movie soundtracks from inspiring characters this season!

This year’s theme will be Reimagine the Magic: A Festival of Lights. Located at the Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati City, the show runs every 30 minutes from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. until January 8, 2019.

SM Aura Prism of Lights

If you like to go to malls, another spot to experience one-of-a-kind Christmas display is SM Aura Premier’s Prism of Lights. This interactive light show is inspired by the beauty and wonder of the night sky.
